Scoot Flying to Haneda and Okinawa

The low-cost carrier Scoot, owned by Singapore Airlines, has launched new services from Singapore to Japan.  While the airline has flights to Sapporo, Osaka and Tokyo’s Narita Airport, they have introduced new services to Tokyo’s Haneda Airport and Okinawa.

Scoot began services in March of 2026.  The flight to Haneda Airport is daily, using Scoot’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The con is that it arrives at Haneda Airport at 1:00 am in the morning. While Terminal 3, the international terminal is open, most shops and services, including currency exchange are closed. Luggage delivery service is also closed; however, if you are sending to the airport from within Japan, JAL ABC is open 24 hours on the departure level.

For anyone arriving at Haneda, both the Keikyu Line and Tokyo Monorail trains to Tokyo do not operate after midnight.

After midnight, the Limousine Airport Bus service offers 2 buses to Shinjuku at 1:40 am and 2:20 am only.

The best option is to use a taxi or car service to your hotel or accommodation.

This is a great new addition to Haneda as it adds additional service connecting Tokyo’s city center and Singapore.

This is also the first direct connection between Singapore and Okinawa as well.

The flights to Okinawa arrive at Naha Airport, the main international airport in Okinawa. The service will run 3 times a week using the Airbus A321neo aircraft, Scoot’s narrow body long haul plane.

Here is the breakdown of the flights themselves.
